How do i care for my jewellery?

Our jewellery is crafted with care and designed to last! It's tarnish-resistant and won't change colour. While we encourage you to rock your pieces during workouts, ocean swims, and even in the shower, a little love and care go a long way. Just keep in mind that certain skin pH levels can affect the metal and it's best to steer clear of harsh chemicals, like those found in swimming pools.

You have to give your jewellery some love too maintain it's shine, it's important to give it a little extra care. Follow these tips to keep your gold-plated pieces looking their best:

  • Tuck away your sparklers in a chill dry place, steer clear of the sun, and pick a room with little moisture.
  • Post-shower, make sure your skin has fully absorbed those body lotions before putting on your pieces. Some products may not play nice with gold-plating, leading to colour or texture surprises.
  • Don't forget to dab on some perfume before throwing on your bling. Perfume chemicals can totally mess with the metal and give it a funky makeover, so steer clear of direct spritzing!

A little TLC goes a long way! When not flaunting your pieces, pop it back in its pouch or box. Show your piece some love with a gentle rub using a polishing cloth and skip the scents, lotions, and sprays. Keep your gems from rubbing each other the wrong way.

Fable was created an established in Sydney Australia by a Mumpreneur just trying to utilise her love for fashion, styling and marketing to create a business that is feel good and can be shared and grown within the family.
